The Louisiana Division is in the midst of a volunteer project to add index cards to its Louisiana Biography/Obituary Index for the Daily Picayune newspaper for the period 1837-1857. As a side benefit of the project we are able to offer this online version of the index for those years only. We will be updating this page as new data is made available to us.
