The Arts Council was the local coordinating agency for the national Save Outdoor Sculpture project directed jointly by the National Museum of American Art and the National Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Property. The project goal was to docume nt American outdoor sculpture and to raise public awareness of the vital role that it plays in our culture. The deed of gift noted in the folder inventory is for Save Outdoor Sculpture records given to The Historic New Orleans Collection, 1/28/1994.
