Bound manuscript volumes in which the daily minutes of the court's proceedings were entered by the clerk. Most of the entries relate the actions taken on individual suits pending before the court; these entries are accompanied by marginal notes citing the names of plaintiff & defendant, along with the docket number assigned to each suit. Additional entries record such matters as the appointments of court officers, the admission of attorneys to practice before the court, and naturalization proceedings.

The first volume in the series is a continuation of the final minute book for the old City Court. Volume 3 also includes a record of marriage licenses issued by the City Court during 1807-1808.

There is also a single volume of minutes of cases appealed to the Parish Court from the Justices of the Peace.
