The Louisiana Library Connection Databases are made available through the State Library of Louisiana to public library card holders throughout the state at each library's individual web page (link here for a list of Louisiana public library websites: www.state.lib.la.us/libdir).

New Orleans Public Library patrons (and visitors) may use the databases inside any of our libraries. If you are an NOPL card holder, see the instructions below to access the databases from your home or office:

1. Click on the Louisiana Library Connection Databases link above
2. Choose New Orleans Public Library from the dropdown list
3. Enter your NOPL library card number in full
4. Click Log in
5. Choose the database you want to search and click Enter
   (Note: Ancestry.com is available only inside our libraries.)
