Earlier this year, back in May, we presented our first sampling of images from the 1903 publication, New Orleans, Louisiana, The Crescent City. That gallery focused mainly on views of activities inside a variety of business establishments throughout the city. This month we shift our attention to photographs of exterior views of buildings represented in this fascinating book. The captions accompanying this month's images are taken directly from the original publication. We've added additional information, presented inside brackets, to put the photographs into a one-hundred years later context.
