The Krewe of Naiads presented a Kaleidoscope of Entertainment at the Municipal Auditorium on February 11, 1969. King Kenneth M. Wilkinson and his court watched krewe members who represented and recalled "fascinating and popular dances down through the years, such as: irish jig, polka, cakewalk" etc.

Naiads first appeared at the Auditorium fifty years ago. This ladies' krewe celebrated the Gay Nineties in its first tableau ball.
