Original Illinois Club Program, 1966
The Original Illinois Club, the premiere African American social organization in the Crescent City, selected "London--City of Kings and Queens" as the theme for its 1966 ball and debutante cotillion. The striking program cover was designed by Professor Jack Jordan of the Southern University in New Orleans Art Department (and the father of current Orleans Parish District Attorney, Eddie Jordan).
