Bureau of Identification, 1907
William Brand

William Brand was arrested on November 21, 1907, for breaking and entering in the nighttime. He was convicted of this crime on February 13, 1908, and sentenced to 3 years in the Louisiana State Penetentiary. Additional records in his Bureau of Identification file tell us that he was previously convicted of a different crime and parolled on September 18, 1907 to work for George Frederick at $12 a month, plus room and board. At some point (date not given) he broke parole and left the state without permission.
