Most of the 3,500+ images in NOPL's WPA Photograph Collection document projects that the agency operated within the city of New Orleans. We do, however, also have a smattering of photographs from WPA projects in other parts of the state. This month we offer a small sampling of images of the WPA at work in the rest of Louisiana, specifically in Avoyelles, East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Ouachita, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Vermilion, and Vernon Parishes.
