Canal Street
This stereograph, like the one that follows it, was identified at some early date as "Canal
Street," though it certainly doesn't resemble any view of New Orleans' main street as we know it. Presumably, it shows
Canal Street as it pushed into the less populated, developing area on the lake side of Claiborne.
