C. Milo Williams
French naval vessels, 1905. On Christmas Day, 1904, the French man-of-war Jurien de la Graviere arrived in the port of New Orleans for a month-long stay. Two weeks later it was joined by the French cruiser Duplix. This photograph apparently was taken on or shortly after January 8, 1905, the date that the Duplix arrived in the Crescent City.
