Grand Re-Opening

More than two years after Hurricane Katrina reduced it to rubble, the Martin Luther King Jr. Branch returned triumphantly to its home in the Lower Ninth Ward's Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School for Science and Technology.

Guests and students from the Martin Luther King, Jr. Charter School for Science and Technology listened as Councilmember Cynthia Willard-Lewis addressed the crowd.
